Touch Sensity, a french startup deeptech founded in 2019, has developed an innovative technology for non-destructive testing, condition-based and predictive maintenance, and other maintenance/repair activities. Touch Sensity positions itself on the capture system market for structural health monitoring and operational maintenance applications. On these needs, the technology has already been validated by 17 International industrials such as ArianeGroup, Leonardo, Valeo, Alstom, Naval Group, SNCF, CETIM, ... The company has also realized a first fundraising of 1,5 million euros in 2021, and is currently finalizing the second one.

Expertise

Touch Sensity is founded on a technological base using a signal propagation inside the material to reconstruct any physical-mechanical interaction happening on it, as a mapping. Thanks to an embedded system connected only to the periphery of the material, combined with mathematical algorithms, it is possible to detect an interaction, characterize it, measure its intensity and locate it as a 2D or 3D cartography.

Qualifications

The Sensity Tech is a sensor-free, and a non-intrusive technology that uses the material itself as a sensor or sensing surface. This provides both a surface and structural analysis of the material, and can be adapted to any shape, size, topology and type of material. Moreover, the technology allows a real-time analysis, enabling measurement and monitoring of the material's structural condition during its exploitation.

Customer references
